« on: October 12, 2022, 01:41:43 pm »
If a firmware update has failed, the OBDLink CX is still recoverable.  Follow the steps below to retry the firmware update.  Do not hit the OBDLink app CONNECT button at any time during this procedure.
  • Make sure your phone/tablet is not streaming to any other Bluetooth/BLE devices.
  • Make sure all other devices paired with the OBDLink CX have Bluetooth turned off.
  • Power cycle the OBDLink CX (unplug it from the OBD port)
  • Navigate to Settings -> Firmware Updates
  • Make sure your OBDLink CX is selected and tap the blue UPDATE FIRMWARE button
  • Tap the green UPDATE FIRMWARE button
